Cancellation and Refunds

How KORD.ch trials, recurring subscriptions, storage add-ons, cancellation and refund requests work.

Trial

Where offered, the 14-day trial does not require a card and does not automatically create a paid subscription. No subscription fee is charged unless the account owner deliberately completes Checkout.

When a trial ends without an active subscription, paid functions may be restricted. Trial expiry does not automatically delete workspace data; the owner can subscribe, export needed content or request deletion.

Monthly subscriptions

Current self-service paid-beta monthly business prices before VAT are €9.90 for Starter and €39 for Studio. Agency remains a closed pilot and requires a separate written order. Checkout adds applicable VAT unless a qualifying VAT ID and billing location permit reverse charge or another exemption, and displays the binding total before payment.

New subscriptions may use EUR, USD, CZK, GBP, CHF, PLN or CAD. An active subscription keeps one billing currency for consistent renewals and prorations; changing it may require ending the existing subscription and starting a new one.

A paid subscription is charged in advance and renews automatically each month until cancelled. Existing founding-beta subscriptions keep their separately agreed legacy price and storage model until the owner changes plan or the parties agree otherwise.

Storage add-ons and usage

Managed storage is included with each public plan. Optional recurring storage add-ons add 25 GB or 100 GB at the price shown in the subscription's selected currency. Billing shows the resulting total capacity before Checkout. Public plans do not create an open-ended per-GB overage charge.

A storage add-on renews with the subscription until removed. Before lowering capacity, the workspace may need to free enough stored media to fit the new limit. Removing an add-on does not itself delete media.

Monthly posts-sent allowances are hard limits for new posts, not surprise overage billing. A post above the allowance pauses until the allowance resets or the owner changes plan.

X and YouTube are not part of the initial self-service paid-beta offer. No public X credit pack is sold while X remains marked Coming soon. Existing customers with a separately agreed legacy allowance keep only the terms shown in their Billing account or written order.

A plan or add-on change applies immediately after successful prorated billing. A reduction is blocked when current usage would exceed the proposed storage or posts-sent allowance.

How to cancel

The account owner can cancel through the Stripe billing portal where available or email [email protected] from the owner address. Include the workspace or billing-account name.

Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. Access continues through that date unless the account is suspended for security, abuse, chargeback or legal reasons. Cancellation stops future renewal but does not automatically delete workspace data or revoke connected social profiles.

Refund policy

Stripe can create a prorated charge or invoice credit for a successful mid-period plan or add-on change. Cancellation and unused allowances are otherwise non-refundable except where mandatory law requires a different result.

We will investigate duplicate or unauthorized charges, an incorrect price, a charge after an effective cancellation, or a material KORD service failure. If we confirm a KORD billing error, we will correct the invoice, issue an appropriate credit or refund the affected amount.

Third-party platform outages, rejected posts, moderation decisions, API review restrictions, unused media capacity and customer configuration errors do not by themselves create a refund right, unless mandatory law says otherwise.

Requesting a refund

Email [email protected] from the account-owner email and include the invoice or payment reference, billing-account name, charge date, amount and a concise explanation. Do not send full card numbers, authentication secrets or social access tokens.

We may ask for information needed to verify ownership and investigate the transaction. Submitting a request does not suspend renewal; cancel separately if you do not want another billing period.

Mandatory rights

Nothing in this policy excludes a statutory cancellation, refund, chargeback or consumer right that cannot legally be waived. KORD is primarily offered for business and professional use, but any mandatory protection applicable to a particular customer remains in force.
